President congratulates Trincomalee Orr's Hill Vivekananda College
President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga sent her best wishes regarding the National Level results obtained by two students of Trincomalee Orr's Hill Vivekananda College at the GCE (A/Ls).
The letter to S. Navaratnam, Principal, T/Orr's Hill Vivekananda College, Trincomalee by Sunila Mendis, Senior Assistant Secretary for Secretary to the President states: "The DSD School Project was personally supervised by the President as she wished to see many schools developed as centres of excellence.
"By your letter dated 16th August 2004 addressed to Secretary/Education with a copy to me shows that the President's dream has come true. The President sends her best wishes to you and the academic staff for their contribution towards the education development of Orr's Hill Vivekananda College.
The President further congratulates the two students, namely Mas. Sivarajah Kokilan, Commerce Stream, 2nd Rank, National Level and Mas. Amirthanathan Prashanthan, Mathematics Stream, Super Merit who obtained very good results and all others who brought fame to the school through studies and extra-curricular activities Download As PDF
